PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Jon is the CEO and founder of atmospheres, a creative digital design studio and BIM consultancy with a focus on innovative technology, architecture, interiors and project management. An all-rounder and natural leader Jon provides the practice with strategic direction, ensuring all projects are successfully executed to the highest quality with his personal touch.

He graduated from the Manchester School of Architecture with 1st class honours, and studied MArch at HKU in 2005. Jon has travelled extensively around Europe and the Far East and delivered some of the most challenging and exciting projects in the Asia Pacific Region; most notably: Vietinbank Hanoi, West Kowloon Cultural District, The Lyric Theatre, HSBC Interiors, HKIA T3, the Organic Waste Treatment Facility, Shatin Central Link, Exhibition Station and Wanchai Swimming Pool.

Jon has been practicing for over 15 years and learned his trade under design heavyweights Sir Roger Stephenson, Sir Norman Foster and Ben Van Berkel; but it was in his time at Arup where he really excelled as project lead. As East Asia BIM champion, implementing new tech, teaching, supporting, leading by example encouraging a collaborative approach Jon helped Arup and their client MTR win 1st place in the international Autodesk 2015 Excellence in Infrastructure Award in Las Vegas. Jon has managed multidiscipplinary teams and successfully co-ordinated one of the most complex projects in the world.

Jon is a former international waterpolo player, British Champion and England waterpolo Team. He is an avid swimmer; when he is not in the office you will find him at the beach.
